That is when they woke up. They were hiking when they stopped at a local hotel. They payed for "slave protection" that protected them from being enslaved, but someone had given a higher bid. They never realized the room was filling with gas. They awoke before their slave transition and began knocking.

They were awoken by their box moving. The world outside was buzzing with life. They beat on the glass but no one reacted. The box was then lifted up and carried across the room. A second later the box was set down in front of a door and slowly the box started tipping. They slid to the now lower side and eventually stood on that side that used to be a wall of the clear stuff. The box was slid toward the door and they heard a group of bangs at the side that was formerly the floor, and see little metal things holding the walls. Their eyes adjusted and saw a bigger box, "Step in now.". They did. That is when the customers came in. Your future master walked in and bought you. Alice and Bella were crying and Tom began fighting back as they were dragged to the brain-washer 10000.
