"A catchy song!" Holly exclaimed.
You couldn't say "no" to your lovely audience of one. After thinking of a song, you knew exactly the best one in mind. "Ok" you started, "I've got just the song...but let's make this a little more fun!" Holly gave you a curious look. You continued, "I can tell you'll want to sing and dance along to this. Which is why I want to see how long you can listen to this tune WITHOUT doing any of that!" "Oh." Holly said. She really didn't see this coming. She spoke again, "Ok. I can do that." You then started this little game by thinking of the song and the radio started playing a silly song. It turned out to be one from a kids movie starring talking sea creatures. You told Holly, "I should warn you, it's IMPOSSIBLE not to sing and dance along to this." You then started singing and dancing the same way those characters did:
"OHH IM A GOOFY GOOBER, YEAH!
YOU'RE A GOOFY GOOBER, YEAH!
WE'RE ALL GOOFY GOOBERS, YEAH!
GOOFYGOOFYGOOBERGOOBERS YEAH!!!
After that verse, you noticed Holly moving her hips a little. She realized what she was doing and quickly stopped, letting out an " eep!"
You smirked and said, "Uh oh! What was that just now? Were you about to dance?" Holly quickly denied it, "No! Of course not!" You gave out a "Hmm", not really buying it. You spoke again, " Well in that case...I'll turn it up louder!" and you did just that. You sang the lyrics and danced to them again while seeing Holly struggling to keep it together. She was sweating a bit, her eyes twitching, her entire body, shaking. You called out to her, "Cmon Holly. You know you want too!" Holly quickly shook her head letting out an "Mmm mmm!"
You sang in a bit of a taunting tone, "I'm a goofy goober, yeah! You're a goofy goober, yeah! We're all goofy goobers, yeah!"
Holly couldn't take it anymore! She had never heard this song before and already she wanted to sing and dance along to it. Finally, the inevitable happened,
"GOOFYGOOFYGOOBERGOOBERS, YEAH!!!" Holly shrieked. She then immediately covered her mouth with both hands. You couldn't help but chuckle. You looked at a clock and saw that she didn't last a whole minute. You then heard Holly breathe a sigh of relief. You told her that she did good and she blushed at the compliment. She spoke back, "So did you my little musical note!" You were now given a nickname by the musical Holly Luya. You blushed again, and again, you shook it off and said, "Alright! Let's do it again! This time with feeling!" So you replayed the music in your mind, therefore the radio replayed it as well and with that, you both sang and danced the night away...even though it wasn't night. Not yet anyway.
After a goofy singing session, Holly applauded for your singing talent. You both decided to take a breather and think about what to do next. Holly had another idea, "So, we had a lot of fun in here. But outside is also fun. I can take you to my favorite place. How about it?"
"Hmm..." You thought.
