"No Daph, wait." Velma tried to reach out for Daphne but it was already to late. Daphne had closed her eyes and a flash of light enveloped both of them.
When they both opened their eyes they first realized that their heads were not centered on their shoulders. Daphne's head was offset to the right while Velma's was offset to the left. They looked down and saw that they now shared a single body. They were wearing a Daphne's purple dress with Daphne and Velma's long socks and shoes on their four legs. The shirt on their dress had a little bit wider opening for their two heads and four cuffs for their arms but more weirdly their three breast. The necklace sat between both of their necks as it wrapped around them.
"Jinkies!" Velma was the first to speak up.
"Daphne what did you do to us?"
"I combined us, how cool is that." Daphne was obviously unphased by the changes.
"Yeah cool whatever, now change us back!" Velma clearly wasn't happy with the current outcome.
"Wait." Daphne thought. "What if we solve the case like this, then the guys wouldn't think so little of us." Daphne tried convincing Velma.
"Well..." Velma thought about Daphne's idea for a second.
"Think about it Velm's, they think I can't solve anything and you are just a klutz. But together we can cover each other's weaknesses." Daphne continued.
"Alright fine but after this case we split up, got it." Velma pointed their upper left hand at Daphne's head.
"Got it." Daphne assured her friend.
"Alright." They both nodded, "let's look for clues."
