Chapter #7Ambush in the Dark World by: K.Bonez   The hunters emerges from the bright portal into a strange dark world...The hunters notice the sky itself is pitch black with different dark colors swirling across the sky, strange colored ground and large pillar of rocks soars across the field in unusual formation. While this place is certainly new to them, Quentin has an ominous feeling that something bad is gonna happen if they don't hurry and find the target...But it seems his ominous warning is about to happen when Beta alerts the hunters that an unknown creature is heading this way.
"Danger! Danger! Unrecognized creature is coming and it's about to attack! Preparing for maximum assault!"
"Wha-What are you talking about, Be-Holy shit!!" Danny shouted when a giant dark skinned creature emerges from the shadows and attempts to crush the tiny hunters.
"Shit! Spread out!"
Quentin and the hunters scatter before the black creature slams its claws into the ground, missing them. The rookie Esmeralda summons her ghostly chains within the creature's shadow, wrapping around its arms and legs. The creature struggles to free itself but Esmeralda's chains well known for being unbreakable and will kept you still for a very long time. Atomic and Alanna body slam against the creature's stomach, causing the creature to stumble backward before it felt a painful sting on the head by Zeke's sniper rifle. Quentin, Viz, Sasha, and Ryx jumps towards its chest to deliver the final blow, The leader slashes the giant creature follow by Viz's powerful punch, Sasha's quick strikes and Ryx's burning slash that burns across its chest. The creature wail out in pain before suddenly disappears into thin air.
"Everyone alright?" Quentin asked them as they hunters regroup.
"Y-Yeah...What the hell was that?" said Sharper.
"Beta?"
"I am still gather data, but the place we are in now is called the Realm of Darkness."
"Realm of Darkness...? Sounds a bit cheesy if ya asked me." said Petire.
"...This place...kinda feels like I'm back in Underworld..." Esmeralda meekly said while cowering behind Alanna.
"I really HOPE this isn't like Hell...if it is, I'm gonna beat the shit out of the doctor!" Alanna snarls.
"Well it's the perfect place for you and Viz to hang out, he he he!" Petire and the Recons laugh out loud, only to be silence by the angry glares of Viz and Alanna.
"...I think we're being watch...Be on guard..." Ryx slowly take his sword.
"Really? Cause I don't see any..." Danny spotted the same giant dark creature from before emerging from the shadows. "...Never mind."
The hunters ready themselves for another battle until they notice more giant dark creatures appear around the hunters, surrounding them with no way to escape except for Slick's teleportation...of course, he's asleep on Atomic's shoulder.
"Well fellas...I guess this is the end, we're gonna die in this pit of darkness.." Petire sighs before turning to Ralph and Sharper. "Gentlemen... it has been a privilege being with you all today."
"Same to you, Pete. Shall we sing the famous 'Nearer My God to Thee' in E minor?"
"Sounds splendid."
"Don't bring that Titanic shit in here!" Viz shouted. "I'm not going down without a fight!"
"...Ya have no taste for classical music."
Quentin rolls his eyes before seeing the giant creatures charging towards them. The hunters brace themselves for another big fight until...
"Firaga!"
A large ball of fire appears from behind, hitting few creatures, causing them to disappear. The remaining ones skid to a stop and turns around, only to be hit by another fireball. The last remaining creature looks around, noticing its fellow comrades has vanish, it starts running away in a panic but it too got hit by a last fireball, disappearing from the hunters' sight.
"Whoa...Way to go, Glenys!" Danny swoons over to the mage before being punched by Alanna in the face.
"Uhh...I didn't do it."
"Correction: That woman did it..."
Zeke points towards a feminine figure that is walking towards them. The woman appears to be tall, gigantic to the tiny hunters, and slender with medium-length blue hair and blue eyes. She wears a black and navy blue, high-collared halter top, a black corset with two pairs of white laces and black shorts, white bell-sleeves with small, segmented piece of armor on each of her upper arms and tan, fingerless gloves, black stockings reaching about halfway up her thighs, two strips of blue cloth draped over each of her hips and armored silver boots with sharp hook in the outer side.
"Hot Damn! What a woman~!" Danny drools at the sight of his savoir.
"Ooh the poor fool...Anyway, she did save our butts. Question is...Did she see us?" said Petire.
"Only one way to find out..." Quentin said while watching the giant woman getting closer and closer with each booming steps she takes...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
