Stan decided that to run into the cooler carried too much risk - he could be seen by the giant man, or the kids, and he might not make it anyway.

So instead Stan decided to do what any frightenened little animal would do - curl up into a ball and hope for the best. The kids thundered towards him with abandon...did they spot him?
