You wake up one morning to find that your genitals have fallen off

This choice: The Train Station  •  Go Back...
Chapter #5

All Aboard!

by: Todd Remote Author IconMail Icon
You head off to the train station that you never use. As soon as the train stop comes into view you see a large group of teens varying from 13 to 18 years old with a few grown ups walking around making sure they stay still, must be your group. Looks like you were late this year just like always. This year most of your old friends have stopped coming, you always fit in with anyone who was older yet still acted like a kid The camp only allows up to 18 years old, after that you could apply for counselor, yet it was rare for someone to be accepted.

You looked around for the few friends you had that were your own age, trying to remember their faces after almost a year and only a few texts here and there. Scanning through the crowd of about 200 people, you saw that your now small group had already formed once again. Walking over you meet up with your camp friends: Emily, Riley, and Julian. You felt like the group was larger than you remember it, you counted everyone, it just felt larger than what you had just convinced yourself.

"Hey, Emily!" You signal to your best friend. She was the only one who you knew outside of camp, she was probably the person you knew the most. You and Emily have had a long history together, starting in the fourth grade you and her were only acquaintances. Once middle school started she was the first one you met and you two became instantly inseparable. She is 16 and her birthday is November 2nd, she is older than you by only a little over a month. But while you were always playful, she was more of a child. She is an inch shorter than you and is almost always wearing bright colours. Her casual clothes consist of an array of skirts in every length and colour, a plain top that will sometimes have pictures from jokes to video games to random things like a ska tie, and a jacket depending if the weather isn't to hot. Most noticeable about her is her extreme lack of womanly features, middle school saw you growing into a small B-cup while she stayed as flat as a board. But those kinds of things wouldn't fit her anyways.

To her right was someone you met just last year. Riley, a 15 year old Virgo who is more of the watch and follow type rather than the one who leads into the woods. She was wearing a t-shirt that mirrored yours but was brown, blue jeans that tightened around her, She was over a year younger than you yet was probably slightly bigger in all areas. She already stood about 2 inches above you, and was just a more developed version of you. Almost literally, last year there was an incident involving your hair getting tangled with hers and a lot had to be cut off because your hair colour was identical. This year she had added a bit of yellow to her hair and it was a little more distinguishable than before. Hopefully that wont happen again.

The only one that took you some time to recognize was Julian, who last year was border-lining dork with braces and large glasses. Only to be topped off with pants that could reach his neck. This time around he was a completely different person, braces and glasses gone you finally realize he has green eyes, his teeth were lined up to perfection. His hair now was cut in a choppy manner that covered his left eye slightly and he was wearing black jeans and a gray shirt. Truly attractive to any girl. You were good at telling what Emily was thinking, and you could easily tell she was trying not to stare at Julian, and the more you thought about it the harder it became for you not look at him too.

"『』, are you going to stay the extra week?" Emily asked you.
"You say that like I ever don't." Which was true for almost everyone. It was a one week camp, yet a second week is offered which almost nobody ever turns down. Mostly only the really sick kids or those who actually didn't want to come here in the first place. The camp was called "Camp Silver", yet it was really nothing but a live on your own camp. Most everything is manned by the teens and returning counselors, it's really a bit of a freedom of expression camp. Pretty much anything can be done there, it's like a bunch of clubs gathered together for two weeks. The adults only intervene in emergencies like broken bones or large fires. And the camp funds more than it'self and has quite the living spaces from those who just built and decorated cabins themselves. With the campers being the ones who cook the food there's always something good to be eaten. The whole place would be way more crowded if the camp limit wasn't 200 people. Yes, 200.

The four of you chatted for a little while about what you're going to do at camp this year. Julian had his heart set on building another cabin.
"You just wait, not only with it be the greatest house on the block, but it's going to be the grand hall compared to all the other cabins!" The three girls laughed at this statement. Yet all of you had a part that knew he very well could do as he says, he didn't tell lies much, and he was more than mentally capable of designing a house to that scale.
"If you can prove yourself and do as you say, then-" Riley cut herself off and didn't complete her sentence, it was obvious whatever she was about to say was embarrassing, and that only made you want to know what she was going to say more! The four of you stayed silent for a few seconds staring at Riley, when you started hearing the train.

As everyone in the camp took up almost all of the train, you did as you always did and did a laser fast scan of everyone. Usually whoever you sit next to on the train would be your next friend this year, so you had to choose wisely. Your eye was caught by a boy will long jet black hair, just something interesting about him as he walked as quickly through the crowd as he could. All you had time to do was grab Emily's hand and drag her with you. He quickly vanished yet you and Emily were able to get a booth to yourselves, so yeah.

Somehow it wasn't until you threw your bag next to you did you remember what had happened...
