You try to hide your lack of genitals while grabbing the towel, but you're carrying the tray. "What the hell?" Beth asks, sounding more confused and worried than surprised. "It was gone," you say. "Since I woke up." You set the tray down on your coffee table and put the towel back around your waist. While doing this, you take a moment to peek at Beth's wrists- She still has both hands, but the hand you found is similar to hers. "Where did it go, then?" She asks, and you get the feeling she knows more than is being let on. "If I knew, it wouldn't be gone, that's for sure," you tell her. Before you can interrogate Beth, a cold breeze hits you.
"I'll be right back," you say, gesturing for her to take a seat as you head into your bedroom, dressing quickly. You grab the hand off your nightstand, noticing that it is no longer balled up, but relaxed and lying flat. Unceremoniously stuffing it into your pocket, you head back into the room with Beth and sit down across from her, not bothering to get any coffee yet.
