Looking over the “new” Alex, you thought she could do with a bit more meat on her bones. With just a bit of concentration, gone was the slender brunette, and in her place was a much curvier version. Her shirt was now stretched around plump breasts and a meaty stomach, while her pants hugged thick thighs and a round rump. Getting up from the table, popping the rest of your donut into your mouth, and grabbing your coffee, you walked over.
From behind, you heard Vanessa mutter, “About time…”
Ignoring that comment as well as the barb that almost slipped from your tongue, you instead tried to keep your heart from thundering out of your chest as you came closer to the rather ravishing creature before you.
“Is this seat taken?” you asked.
Alex looked up with a quizzical slant to her eyebrows before saying, “No, go ahead.”
Thanking her, you slipped into the seat. Alex cocked her head and her lips parted slightly as she continued to stare at you.
As you were about to ask what was up, she instead asked, “Sarah…right?” You smiled and nodded, and she went on, “Sorry about that, I was…somewhere else.” She motioned down to her tablet.
After some minutes of further small talk, you had figured out that this Alex was almost identical to before except for the obvious differences. The interests the two of you had shared were still the same. In fact, you noticed that she liked a few more things that you did now as well. After a while though, you also noted that she seemed a bit distracted, looking up towards the counter with a hungry look to her face.
“Do you want something to eat?” you asked.
Alex jumped slightly as you broke her trance before nodding. “I really shouldn’t be having anything else though,” she said with a grimace as she flicked a finger towards the plate with the muffin crumbs beside her.
“Nonsense, if you’re hungry, you should eat something,” you told her. “Come on, I know a place around the corner that you can get something filling.”
Alex didn’t follow you to stand at first, her full lips turning downward as she nibbled on the lower one. She gave a sudden sharp nod of her head and hopped to her feet after several moments. You gave a quick good-bye to Vanessa who returned it with a subtle thumbs up as you led Alex out the door and into the bustling city street beyond. Alex’s tablet was hidden away in her car before you continued the short trip around the corner to the waiting food. You could see that she was already licking her lips in anticipation before she could even see the place.
