Tom still didn't want to go to school, so he hatched a plan. "Hey can you go to school and tell them I'm sick. Please?" He asked his sister "maybe, what's in it for me?" Tina asked with a smirk on her face "I'll do anything you want for an entire week. Please?" He pleaded with her "deal" Tina said as she waved goodbye to tom and she headed off onto the bus.
Tom then turned right back around and snuck his way to the back of the house making sure to avoid the windows at all cost. He sees an open egress window that looks to be big enough he can crawl in. He peers inside carefully seeing that the window leads into the bathroom. He looks around some more and sees his mother is nowhere in sight, so he quickly drops his bag outside of the window and climbs inside. "I have to get to my room quietly" he thinks to himself as he listens out for any sign of his mom. After a few moments of not hearing anything he sneaks his way out of the bathroom and into the living room. He looks around and luckily he sees his mother is sleeping soundly on the couch. But now he has to decide what to do since the stairs he needs to walk up are extremely creaky and likely to wake his mom up.
