An aerosolised version of the treatment was created, and tested in a maximum security prison. All of the prisoners were violent offenders, serving sentences that would far exceed their life expectancies. The prison guards were gradually withdrawn to escape accidental contamination.
While some prisoners noticed the change in routine and suspected they weren't being observed. None imagined the experiment or their involuntuary participation.

The air conditioning circulated the treatment around the whole facility, and the inmates were all secured in their cells. None in the exercise yard, or in any of the public gathering spots inside. The tension was clear, as the first inmates started to transform.
Nausea and tiredness weren't that rare, with a retreat to their bunk, and resting being the easiest way of dealing with stress.
However, as the changes became clearer, the outcomes more obvious, the sounds of rioting and protests spread through the whole facility. The CCTV still recorded the desperation, as those sharing a cell found their cell mate becoming a woman. The amusement was brief, as they felt their own changes racing through their bodies. None had the opportunity to take advantage before their own fate was sealed.
