Helen Miller is a reporter on a small town news paper . She is a tall 40 year old woman with two kids at home . Mike is her husband of 20 yrs . They move from New York to Redford Fall to four years ago .
The local people are friendly and bit strange to city folk . The New paper hired Helen a few months ago . The editor ask her to write a story about strange happens to the north of town .
She drove out to speak with eye witnesses . They spoke of balls of light float in the woods after sun set . Helen call up Mike to let him know she is working on a story . Her idea is to check out the woods after sunset . The farmer suggested she stay clear and watch from his farm house .
Helen decided to walk about the woods with a flash light . An fallen tree made a good place to sit and wait . Her eyes watched the sun set . The woods become very dark . The screen display the time of 7:01 pm. A deer leaped over the log . It shocked her . The white tail bounces back in to the darkness .
Helen look back to way the deer come from . Three yellow balls of light moves toward her . She stand up to get a picture of the light balls . One of ball flew a few feet from her . It bobbed up and down . Helen spoke the word "hello" . The yellow light ball darted around her twice before discharging a yellow beam into her chest . Helen passed out .
The farmer and his wife watch from their back deck . They only saw the yellow lights moving in the dark woods . Helen can not be seen . They waited for five minutes before going to look for Helen . The two walk into the woods with very bright flash light . The wife discovery Helen laying on the ground . Helen seem to be different . The farmer rolled Helen over to see that she now appear younger
