Cody was not quite so convinced, but he agreed. They were both 15 and in the prime stage of adolescence right now.
"Well Mom" Cody began. "My shorts don't fit and Zack seems to be having a lot of trouble fitting his clothes too, so can we go shopping today?"
"Sure thing" said Carey. "Cheap Charlie's is having a sale."
"No, that's okay. Just drop us off at the mall and we'll find something with the money in our piggy banks."
"You mean your piggy bank?" Carey asked. "Zack spends all his allowance at the Candy Counter."
"No, umm" Cody began. They hadn't told Carey about their jobs and he decided now wasn't the best time, so he made something up. "Zack found some money under his bed, we've both got enough money."
"Okay honey, but buy them a little big. You're still growing" Carey said.
Cody agreed and decided to forget about the scale and tell Zack what was happening.
