This choice: Looking around the room, Harriet's eyes pleaded for help. • Go Back...Chapter #9Looking around the room, Harriet's eyes ple... by: Mr. George Even as Hermione's wand danced through the air, the confusion was clear on Harriet's face. Harriet felt the slithering as her blouse formed, the buttons doing themselves up, as they met over her sumptuous bust. Her Gryffindor tie wove itself into a presentable knot before sliding up and into place.
But it was the swish of the hem against her thighs, that reminded Harriet Jane Potter of her femininity.
"What's... what's going on..." she squeaked in protest. Her high girlish tones not suited for making demands.
Hermione just smiled, "Now you get to see things from a female perspective... Harry."

A cascade of memories burst from Harriet's mind as Hermione pronounced, 'Harry', the unsettling feeling of something being off crystalised into her awareness of her new sex, her new body, and it's abundant curves. Her hands clasped her bust, shock written on her face, as it dawned on her how real this all was...
"But... But... But..." she blubbed like a tug boat going upstream.
"I've not affected your mind.", Hermione said rather primly, "Just ensured, you have the appropriate mannerisms to suit your new gender. You are unbearably proud of not working, now you get a chance to prove you're not a bimbo."
The last words were twisted with a little more anger than she intended.
"All you need to do." she explained, "to be restored to your male body, is to prove me wrong. All you, Harriet Jane Potter have to do is pass all your exams. No 'Trolls', No 'Dreadfuls', No 'Poors'. A shudder ran down Harriet's spine, she hated History of Magic, Professor Binns was just -like- so boring.
"If you don't, you'd better get used to being 'The Girl who Lived'." Hermione finished. "Though I hope you do manage a couple of Exceeds Expecations, and even an Outstanding or two."
Stepping forward, she put her hand on Harriet's shoulder, and her anxiety drained away, the memories of ever having been male faded like morning mist. Once more her mind was in harmony with the rest of the school, she was Harriet Jane Potter, the orphan child of James and Lily Potter.
All the other artefacts of the Room of Requirement faded too, leaving only the girls standing in a empty, cold stone-lined room with a heavy oaken door. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
