The phoenix doesn't seem to wake up immediately so you continue to stroke her feathers, marveling at how soft and smooth they feel. You are so entranced by the bird that you don't notice that she had woken up and is staring at the strange person that had invaded both it's cage and it's personal space.
The hairs on the back of you neck stand on end as you feel something watching you. You turn your head and are greeted by the visage of the massive bird who is staring right at you. Her black eyes seem to pierce your very soul. You stop petting her and take a step back in fear. The phoenix hops and turns her body around completely and continues to stare at you. She then starts to get really close to you and continues to stare into your eyes. You close your eyes, preparing for the creature to gut you for daring to enter her cage and touch her.
