"Yes, actually," Christine said. "There was one other small thing I wanted to swap."
"What is it?" Evan asked.
"Well, you see," Christine started to explain, "I need to do some work around the house today, but I just got my nails done." She held up her hands to show off her freshly manicured hands, complete with pale pink nail polish. "I was concerned about messing that up, but your little power can help me out here."
"So you want to swap hands for a bit too," Evan concluded.
Christine smiled back at him. "Exactly," she said.
"That can be arranged," Evan said. "All I need is your permission."
"You have it," his neighbor replied.
Evan nodded. "Alright."
He focused on making the swap and felt his hands begin to change. The reduced in size a bit, becoming daintier and distinctly feminine. Looking down at his hands, Evan saw that he now had Christine's immaculately manicured nails hands, right down to her pink painted nails. Giving them a quick rub together, he found that they were also smoother to the touch than his own hands. Meanwhile, Christine now had Evan's larger, rougher male hands.
"Wow," Christine said as she gave them a look over. Despite now having male hands, she fanned out her fingers in a quite feminine way to examine them. She then clenched her new fists and smiled. "Now I don't need to worry about chipping a nail while I do my housework. Thanks, Evan."
"Sure, no problem," Evan replied, taking another glance as his new hands. "I guess I'll come back later after you finish your work."
"Sounds good," Christine said. "We can swap our height back to normal then too. It'll be a few hours at least."
"Alright," Evan said. "That's fine with me."
"Thanks again for doing this, Evan," Christine said. "How about I return the favor and let you swap something of your choice with me as well?"
"You don't have to do that," Evan told his neighbor. "I'm happy to help."
"It's the least I can do for you helping me out," Christine said.
Evan shrugged. "If you insist. I'll need to think about what to swap, though."
"Take your time," Christine laughed. "We can swap whatever you choose another time, if you want."
"Fair enough," said Evan.
"Either way is fine with me," Christine continued. "Just let me know what you want to do."
