Naruto was barely awake when he came to.

“Oh god. What happened? After the jutsu was performed, I remember a bright light.”

Getting his bearings, Naruto saw that he was in a hospital room. A simple note was on a table.

Meet me in the Hokage’s office.

Looking slightly confused, Naruto nonetheless felt compelled to check. He got up to leave the room, not noticing the diamond shaped mark formed on his now bare forehead.
