The cursor hovers over the 'Bouffant Hairstyles' icon and clicks. A wheel spins into existence with a selection of haridos that make your eyes go wide and your blood go cold. The first selection looks like a sculpture of hair piled on top of itself; an updo of mind boggling complexity and height, something that would take an expert an entire day to style in real life. The second is a Hime Gyaru style - essentially a modern 60s hairstyle popular with girls in Japan. It consists of thick bangs sprouting underneath a massive teased pouf of hair, along with huge thick waves pouring out from underneath it. Tiny bows and strings of pearls adorn it along with a big white flower - it is clearly the most girly of the choices, which really doesn't make a difference considering how cartoonishly overdone all the styles are.
