He's trying to impress you.

It would appear as though this Buck is trying to impress you...

To be honest, no animal has ever acted this way around you. And yet, you can read his movements. And in truth, you can't help but be impressed. You've seen deer in the past. But never has a deer been this close to you, without it feeling threatened and bolting. Not only that, but of the bucks you've seen, this one is by far the largest and healthiest. The buck continues to show off for several more minutes, before turning away from you to face toward where he came from. However he maintains his gait as he continues to move away. After a few seconds, he turns his head to face you, and grunts several times. It would seem as though the buck wants you to follow him...

1. Follow him. Why not?
