Alex sat on his mother's bed as she tried to think up a way to keep her son safe from his little sister. "Alex we just can't leave you alone with Samantha. She can drag you away into her room with no problem."
Hearing her say this out loud made him feel worse. "Who knows what she'll do if I'm not here to stop her." Alex hated to see his mother get worried like this.
He hated he was born with this dreadful disease it felt more like a curse than anything else. "Sweetie Maybe staying at your aunt's house is the best option we have. if not them then anywhere but here for the time being."
He knew nothing was going to change even if he went to someone else's house. He would be overpowered by them and be at their mercy.
Abby saw her son in a daze thinking as much about this as she was. Abby put her hand on his shoulder and gently squeezed.
Alex snapped out of it seeing his mother looking at him concerned, "Alex are you okay?" He nodded his head not wanting his mom to worry about him any more than she already was.
"I'm fine I was just thinking about what we could do." Alex wanted to stay home but he was concerned his mom wouldn't listen to him.
Abby sighed looking at her son worried about his safety. "Alex I want you to decide, it's only right since it's affecting you." He was a little shocked that she was giving him that chance.
He knew she would object to him staying home, He then thought about staying at Min's. That sounded even better staying with her would be a dream come true.
He wondered what his mom would say if he mentioned Min. She probably would like the idea considering she was close to Min they talked all the time. "Mom I think I know what I want to do."
She looked at her son waiting to know what he decided on.
