Power of Persuasion

Even though his powers revolved around making people larger, what triggers the obvious effect is persuasion. Anytime he suggests food all around him become enthralled into eating. His powers happened to manifest six months ago, but he didn't realize it back then. He first unknowingly used his powers on his own father. At the time they were at a buffet. Now at the time they were at a buffet. The way his powers triggered is when he joked with his father about him eating out the buffet. Parker's father used to be an extremely athletic man, but over time and without Parker realizing it, he was not only making his father fatter, but his whole family as well. Currently his father was the fattest people at the office and his mother one of the fattest chefs in the state. Besides hunger, Parker's power of persuasion gradually brainwashes all who are near him into wanting to get fat. Yet this side effect can be broken if said thrall spent several weeks separated from Parker, consequently the thrall's willpower to fight their hunger would be obliterated. If the thrall wasn't under Parker's influence for long then they would return to normal within a few hours or a few days depending on their exposure to him.
Now that Parker and Wolverine were heading to Riley's Pizza Buffet, Parker's power of persuasion were subtly taking hold of Wolverine. All that was on Wolverine's mind was eating some pizza with some kid he just saved.
"This is the place. Let's eat." Parker said as he and Wolverine proceeded inside.
After hearing Parker say "Let's eat." Parker's power of persuasion intensified. Luckily Parker already paid for two when Wolverine went on a blitz for the buffet line. Parker stood in awe as Wolverine stacked two plates full of pizza.
Dejavu. This reminds of the time my folks started putting on weight a few months ago. I'm sure it's due to Wolverine's healing factor that he has to eat a lot. Parker thought not knowing that Wolverine was under his control.
After getting a plate full of pizza Parker noticed that Wolverine had already clearer a few plates. Parker then notices the lunch rush arrive. The crowd was larger than usual since Parker's high school graduation was tonight.
"Looks like everyone wants to eat pizza today." Parker mused.
Ironically, after Parker finished talking everyone in the building was under Parker's influence. Parker wasn't aware at first until he saw...
