Doctor Kay agrees completely. "That is understandable. Why don't we go over the list of women who have agreed to take part in this experiment? You'll see exactly what they want in a child so you understand how you'll transform."
You are beginning to feel nervous, but you find the prospect to be interesting.
"Before that," you begin, "...can you tell me what exactly what this process feels like? I...I mean, I'm not going to be disintegrated am I?"
Doctor Kay hums, appreciating the question. "Very good question! What I've heard from various potential children is that they can still feel themselves. Most describe it like swimming in honey. I promise you it won't be as grotesque as one might think. We've even had some boys ejaculate inside their new mothers because they like the pressure of their mother's body."
"S-seriously?"
"...but you know what I find the hottest about the process? The struggles! If you try hard enough, you can force your way out of the woman, but if they want to contain you, they can try keeping you inside of them! I've seen people want to back out way too late into the process and it's quite the pleasurable spectacle!"
You start to see Doctor Kay quiver and her lower half dripping a little from underneath her coat. You are horrified that this woman actually gets off seeing others and women bond together, yet for some reason...you can't seem to decline this opportunity.
So you follow Doctor Kay into her office and she opens up a catalog of women with photos who have specified what they desire in a child and any related history. You glance at a few that catches your interest:
Ashley Peral  (32): Single woman who does not wish to marry, but wants to become a mother to a young adult such as yourself. You would retain your gender and age, so only your appearance would change to match her genetic traits. After that, it seemed her purpose was a simple one: Simply enjoy each day with her son, spoil him, and "bond" with him.
"Oh ho! That woman catches your eye, huh?" Doctor Kay grins before continuing, "Real sweet woman from my interview. She essentially wants a companion to dot over. Her family is rich, so she says she usually just spends a lot of time traveling the world or maintaining her garden. Honestly, this is the easiest life you could possibly have."
You blush, finding the woman to definitely be attractive and if she is as sweet as Doctor Kay is making her as, then it may not be so bad. It sounds like there are some definite benefits to becoming her son.
Clearing your throat, you continue to another volunteer that catches your eye:
Julia Mendez (34): Married woman who has already absorbed one volunteer who was turned into her eighteen-year-old daughter named Erica . It's been two years and now she is twenty. Unfortunately, it's not clear if the daughter was previously male as it's not stated. Regardless, Julia now wants a son starting at eighteen, so there would be no age change or gender change her as well. What strikes you though is that Julia regularly absorbs her daughter and it's recorded that she continues to breastfeed her! You imagined that you would be sharing Julia with your new sister if you accepted this woman.
Seeing your shocked expression as you read the current history of this woman, Doctor Kay chuckles. "Shocking right? This woman is experienced though and I was able to learn a lot thanks to the contributions of her daily life. You'll see that she can absorb you in unique ways that can't be taught, only figured out through practice."
"W-what do you mean about that? Also, Erica...was she a male like me before or..."
Doctor Kay hums, amused. "Well, I can't disclose too much about the volunteers. That's something you'll have to find out on your own!"
'This woman...is evil' you think, but can't push any further.
