Sam woke up the next morning still feeling really tired for some reason. As he tried to push himself of his bed, he realised he was really struggling to move his own weight that way. His eyesight was worse than yesterday and his hair felt longer than it probably should do after one night. He eventually got out of bed and was able to focus for long enough to see himself in the mirror. His well defined muscles had disappeared. Not just faded a bit. They were gone. He then noticed in his mirror a pair of glasses behind him. He didn't know where they came from, or why they were there, but he decided to try them on and it was like his vision was suddenly fine. He took them off, the blurriness returned. Why did he need glasses all of a sudden? Who put them there. Maybe it was his mum. His face was also suddenly very freckly.
He decided that for now he wasn't going to panic. This was just a dream. Muscles don't disappear without a trace overnight. What he hadn't noticed about the glasses was that these frames were made for a girl.
Throwing on some clothes, he couldn't help but notice that these clothes were for someone not nearly as bulky as he's supposed to be. One thing was for certain, dream or not this was going to be a very weird day. He also wouldn't be able to play rugby with a body like this. Not if he had any intentions of living to tell the tale.
