A plain-looking necklace lay within. It was a purple, oval-shaped gemstone attached to an unassuming chain. Rouge dug through the packaging, but couldn't find anything else. Pursing her lips, she looked back to the gem. At the very least, it wasn't made of plastic, so her mysterious gift-giver wasn't skimping on expenses.
She smiled to herself. "I wish I knew who sent this, but oh well. A gem's a gem."
The necklace was around her neck in short order. Its chain wasn't very long, so the gem rested right above her cleavage. Rouge rubbed it, pursing her lips again.
It was a tad uncommon for the bat to wear necklaces, but on the instances she did, the chains were always long enough for them sit in her cleavage rather than above it. She couldn't fault the sender for not knowing her preference, given she never wore anything other than her usual catsuits when out and about. Still, she would've liked a longer chain.
