You don't want to dwell on the fact that you'll soon be wearing diapers full time and do your best to put it out of your mind. You do such a good job that you completely forget about it until you are finishing packing for the trip.
Looking at your watch, you still have a little over an hour before the taxi arrives to take you to the spaceport. You race out to the nearest pharmacy.
"Can I help you?" an overly friendly young woman notices you looking around the store.
"Um. Yes." you aren't quite sure how to say this. "Errm. I'm looking for diapers."
"They are just over here." She replies with a smile. "This way." She leads yo to a shelf full of diapers for infants and toddlers, along with other supplies like powder and baby-wipes. "How old is your child?"
"Um." you blush. "I meant adult diapers."
"Oh. I'm sorry." she says, politely taking the blame for the misunderstanding. "Just over here." she directs you to another shelf, this time lined with incontinence products. "What level of protection no you need?"
"I..um." you stutter, not having the presence of mind to deny that you're the one who'll be wearing the diapers. "What do you mean?"
"Well these are designed to be very discrete." she picks up a package and shows it to you. The picture on the front shows a white pair of underpants with padding that runs from front to back between the legs. "They go on like normal underwear but they can only handle little accidents."
"Oh." you aren't sure what to say.
"On the other hand." she puts back the package and moves to the other end of the shelf where she pick up another one. "There's these." She shows you the picture, it looks much more like the baby diapers on the other shelf. "These can handle a heavy wetting and even a messy accident. But they are thicker and you can't pull them up and down."
