Chapter #4Mike Fuses Himself with the Goth-Little Girl    by: PF5077 As Mike kept walking, he couldn’t stop thinking about the weird combinations he’d created. The sight of that little girl fused with the goth girl—wearing a puffy dress with gothic touches, black boots, and makeup—stayed burned in his mind. What would it be like if I fused with one of these hybrids? he wondered.

His curiosity got the better of him.

He glanced back at the yard where the fused girl was now sitting on the porch, swinging her feet and drawing with chalk. Mike smirked. “Alright… let’s see what happens if I join the fun.”

He aimed the remote at himself, pressed Select. A red targeting reticle appeared on his chest in the display. He then aimed at the hybrid girl and pressed Select again. The display confirmed the two targets. With his heart pounding from excitement (and maybe a little nervousness), he hit the Fuse button.

The blinding flash came again.

When the light faded, Mike felt... different. A lot shorter. And lighter. He looked down—his clothes had merged with parts of the girl’s outfit. He was wearing a black-and-gray poofy dress that felt tight and awkward, especially because of his male frame. His legs were clad in striped tights, ending in goth boots that were far too pointy for comfort. His hands were smaller, daintier, with black-painted nails. His skin felt smooth, his face softer, and his hair had grown long, black, and messy, with little pink hairclips. His voice, when he gasped, was higher-pitched, like a mix between his own and a child’s.

“Oh man… this is so weird,” Mike said, hearing his voice echo back at him, strange and unfamiliar.

He turned to see his reflection in a window. His face was an uncanny blend of his own and the hybrid girl’s, with oversized eyes (one brown, one icy blue) framed in heavy eyeliner, and faint freckles on his cheeks. His body looked about 12, lean but with his features slightly feminized and softened, but definitely not his normal self.

He grinned awkwardly at his reflection. “Okay… maybe I should’ve thought this through…”

Suddenly, he realized he still held the remote.
