There was a weird noise from the laptop and a splash screen that said "Game over!!" popped up.
"Now look what you made me do!!"
Allen sighed heavily jumped up and ran out the door and down the stairs. Fifteen minutes later, he came back up with sweat on his face.
"Okay, your turn."
"My turn for what??"
"What do you mean what? We've only been playing this game since we were 12!! We take turns playing and every time we lose a life we go down stairs and hit 20 reps of benchpress bench in the basement."
"Oh yeah!! How could I forget??"
The two boys then continued their game/competition. As per the rules, each time a boy lost he'd run down the stairs to the basement gym and do his lift. Each time they come back, they'd be bigger than before and the pounding on the stairs got louder and heavier. Eventually Allen's mom couldn't take it anymore. She came in the bedroom.
"Will you two boys PLEASE stop racing up and down those stairs??? You keep this up and I'm charging you BOTH the cost to repair them!!"
"Sorry mom..."
"I'm sorry I even thought up that game for you two!! I mean it got you off your butts and made you get some exercise but you guys have been growing its cost me and your dad a FORTUNE in clothes and food!!"
The two teen bodybuilders looked at each other and grinned. The t-shirts and shorts they were wearing 2 hours ago were now tanktops and even smaller shorts showing off their huge physiques. Rangerwill whispered something in Allen's ear. Allen smiled and nodded.
"Ok mom. Will and I thought up a new game. That's not gonna wreck the stairs. We'll play on the game console in the livingroom. Same rules apply."
"That sounds much better. Do that."
And tell you what, we'll play a multi-player game so you can join in on the fun as well!!"
