Upon holding the scythe for the very first time, I suddenly a sort of....power pulsate through me, as fast as lightning can strike. At first, I didn't feel anything, but suddenly, I felt this...gnawing feeling in my head. It was painful, really painful. And on a scale between 1 to 10, it felt like someone just shoved my brain into a blender at full speed, as I instantly let go of the scythe and grabbed the sides of my head with both hands from the pain.
In the process, I painfully screamed as if I was being burnt alive, as I kept banging my body into several different stuff inside my wrecked home, now knowing how it feels if someone was trying to use psychic powers to control me, begging for the pain to stop hammering my vital organ.
And as I let out one final painful scream, arching my back and screaming into the dusty air, I felt...something wash over my face. I couldn't see what it was, because I wasn't even able to see what it was, as I collapsed onto my knees when the pain receded. Moments after my skull-splitting headache, I then got back up onto my feet to grab the remains of a mirror, whose reflection was cracked in several different areas.
From there, I carefully wiped the dust off to get a better look, but what I saw in front of me was something....different. Originally, I had a pair of jade green eyes lodged in my head, but when I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw that my right eye...it...it changed! I mean, my left eye was perfectly intact and still jade green, but I couldn't say the same for my right eye, as the eye color had changed from it's usual look that I was so used to seeing, to an undead purple hue.
"What the hell?" Was all I could muster in words, as I slowly moved my right hand up to my face to see if I wasn't seeing things. Unfortunately, I wasn't seeing things, my right eye had changed, and it wasn't going away anytime soon. Trying to regain my grasp on reality, I stood back up on my feet and went toward the back door. But suddenly....
