Who you saw walking down the trail wasn't the average pegasus that was the shy, animal loving one, if not, she's the now starting to be expressive, animal lover, and most beautiful pony here that rivals Rarity's prettyness. Hell, if Spike were here, he would instantaneously change perspective of his crush. Luckily, everything was sorted yesterday sort of.
Walking down was Fluttershy, in a light green knee length dress that balances out her golden coat (yet again), with the same color of heels (which surprised everyone), poofier hair, and above all, makeup. Yes, makeup. Not even Rarity can believe it. If it wasn't for Applejack catching her before she nearly fainted, Spike would be crushed from beside her.
She finally reaches up to your position. It's about time. The whole minute made it feel like she's starring on the catwalk.
"What's everyone looking at?" Fluttershy asks, not looking at all concerned. No one answered, except by Rainbow's jaw falling to the ground.
"Hello, (your name)." She leans in and kisses you cheek, just before you faint.
"Oh, my! What happened!?" Fluttershy exclaimed.
Twilight walks over to you and sees that you're still breathing.
"Don't worry, Fluttershy, he's fine," Twilight answers.
"Phew! Thank goodness."
"Hehehe, serves you right!" Rainbow states.
"What do you mean, Rainbow Dash?"
"If it ain't yer pretty looks, it'll might as well be you becoming way too much for (your name) t' handle," Applejack said. "We already know fer sure that he liked you from the start. Why you makin it diff'cult for this guy?"
"You should've seen him before!" Pinkie Pie charters. "Every time you left, he runs faster than what Applejack or Rainbow can run!"
"Well, I didn't know.."
At least five minutes went by and you started to stir about. Your first sight, after you stand up, was Fluttershy's most beautiful presentation ever. You really can't tell if you have a fever, or if it feels that way because you're blushing so badly.
"H-Hey, Fluttershy..." You really couldn't think of anything else to say. The worst part is that your best pony friends are here.
"Sorry about, you know, making you faint like that."
"That's alright, Fluttershy. I just didn't know you were coming well dressed like that..."
You were subconsciously holding hands. The other ponies were stuck in conversation.
"You see, I told you they would make the perfect couple," Twilight remarks.
"Sure coulda fooled me," Applejack says.
"Oh, they look so cute together! I can't wait to see how it'll all turn out!" Pinkie exclaims.
"What should we do though?" Rarity asks. "Should we all hang together, or leave them to be?"
