Cover Nearly Blown

As the door opens, you and Fluttershy hear a familiar bubbly voice.


"Aw, man!" says Pinkie Pie. "I can't believe we lost-" she stops mis-sentence as she sees you and Fluttershy at the counter. She meant to say that she couldn't believe that she and the other ponies lost you and your new fillyfriend. They lost track of you two as they were following you.


"Lost what, Pinkie?" asks Fluttershy.


Pinkie's eyes dart around wildly as she tries to come up with an alibi. The other ponies are just as nervous, remaining quiet as they stand behind Pinkie.


"I can't believe that we lost... Rarity's earring!" she says, finally coming up with an excuse. As if on cue, Rarity sneakily takes of one of her earrings and hides it using her unicorn magic.


"Oh, well that's too bad," you say. "I hope you guys find it."


"I hope so, too," Rarity says. "That earring was part of my favorite pair!" One thing about Rarity was that she was a good actress. Neither you nor Fluttershy suspected a thing.
