"Hey Corlette, how would you like to stand up to that werewolf for what she did to you?" You asked, a smile forming on your face.
"W-what do you mean?" The ghost girl asked nervously.
"I mean you're a ghost now, so why don't you use that to your advantage? Think about it. Lupa can't possibly hurt you anymore, but you can do anything you want to her. I think that you should get some well deserved payback on her."
You could see Corlette's eyes light up as she heard what you said.
"I... I never even thought about that... All this time, I've been terrified of Lupa. I always hid from her in fear because of what she did to me. But R.L., you're right! She can't even touch me now! I can finally get even with her for what she did to me!" Corlette said, a newfound confidence in her voice.
"That's right Corlette, and she deserves to be punished for what she's done. Not only what she did to you, but for trying to do the same to me, and who knows how many other humans before us! She always treated us as nothing more than a snack food, but eating you turned you into something more powerful than her. She made you into a ghost, and now she can't do anything to stop you from getting even with her. She dug her own grave, so now she has to lie in it."
"Yeah! It's time to teach that heartless mutt a lesson! When I'm through with her, she'll never want to eat another human ever again! Thanks R.L., thank you so much. If you hadn't shown up and talked some sense into me, I'd still be living in fear of someone who can't even hurt me. Now let's go, little buddy, we've got a naughty little puppy who needs to be punished."
Corlette then turned her body tangible and reached down to pick you up. Smiling at your new friend, you stepped onto her pale palm and let her lift you into the air. Corlette then smiled at you and pressed the index finger of her free hand against your forehead. Winking at you cutely, she used her powers to turn your body intangible, also giving you the ability to fly just like her. The ghost girl then turned herself intangible again and proceeded to float toward the door. You followed her eagerly, and the two of you flew straight through the door without even opening it. You were really enjoying this sensation. Being able to fly freely through the air, uninhibited by the walls around you. It was absolutely amazing. If this was what it was like to be a ghost, then maybe you really should have just let Lupa eat you long ago.
With a newfound confidence, Corlette eagerly flew toward the room of her target. With you floating by her side, the two of you entered Lupa's room to get payback. Lupa was simply lounging on her couch and watching TV, completely oblivious to the specter that had just entered her room.
