Chapter #7Chikorita by: Unknown *Yawn*
You wake up to your alarm ringing, and a gentle pounce on your bed. You open your eyes to see Chikorita, one of your best friends in the world. You remember the first time you two met, it was a cold, rainy night, and you saw something outside your window. Low and behold, a lone Chikorita, cold and practically starving was at your doorstep. You took her in, and you've been best buddies ever since.
"Good morning Chikorita" You say with a smile, getting out of your bed, picking up Chikorita with. "I bet your hungry, aren't you?"
"Chika" Chikorita replied enthusiastically. You decide to make pancakes while Chikorita goes outside to play. After about 20 minutes, you go outside to call for your little buddy.
"Chikorita, breakfast is ready!" You exclaimed. You hear rustling from a bush nearby, as Chikorita pops out of it, sporting some weird necklace around her neck. You bend down towards Chikorita to take a closer look .
"What's this?" You ask, holding up the purple gem on the necklace. You see Chikorita light up when you ask that question, and began to hold it as well, but this time, the stone started to glow, and the world around you started to get a bit hazy.
You soon feel a jolt of energy hit you, as you snap out of your dazed set of mind. "Woah, that was pretty weird. How did you do that Chikorita?" You ask her. She seems to look at you like she's expecting something.
"Uhh, is there something wrong?" You ask, but soon, you start to notice that she is getting bigger, or maybe... you are getting smaller. You start to look around, seeing everything slowly get bigger and bigger, even Chikorita, to where you are almost her height by now.
"W-what is happening!?" You exclaim.
"You're shrinking. Isn't this what you always wanted?" You hear a reply to your question from non other than Chikorita.
"Chikorita!? How are you able to talk?" You ask, as you are almost a foot tall and still shrinking.
"The stone allows us to communicate to each other. Isn't it great!" She replied, being the bubbly self she has always been, even when you are shrinking.
"But why am I shrinking!?" You are about 6 inches now, and about a quarter of how tall Chikorita is.
"I know what you are into, trainer. You always wanted to be smaller than me, so I found this necklace that allows you to fulfill that deep desire of yours." She said with a smile. You start to blush and look away, feeling a bit flustered knowing that your Pokemon knows about your secrets.
"H-how much am I going to shrink?" You ask, noticing that your shrinkage is slowing down.
"I'd say about at one inch. So, what do you want to do, short stuff." She says teasingly, poking your little form with her leaf. You look up at Chikorita's looming body and think.
" Well, maybe we could... "   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
