Try as you might, however, you just can't seem to exactly recall the unbinding spell. Your first attempt at what you think is the spell simply shuts your door that Laura had left open, making itself seem like nothing had gone wrong. A bit flustered at your failure, you try again, this time your spell simply fizzles and does nothing. You can hear Laura through her gag laugh mockingly at your floundering magical attempts.
"Shut it!" you reply, only to meet Laura's eyes, which were filled with a condesending glare. Eager to prove her wrong, you start to recall one particularily complex spell that you remember having unbinding in it's effects, so you rapidly call it out.
The magic instantly takes hold, your binds undoing themselves in an instant. "Ha! I AM an awesome wizard!," you shout, filled with confidence.
"Yeah, RIGHT," Laura shoots back, her bonds undoing themselves as well. You're heart sinks to your stomach, knowing deep down you've made a terrible mistake. "I'm going to get you for-AH!" Suddenly, the ropes that had once bound Laura rematerialized and dragged her over to your bed. Ropes formed at both her ankles and wrists, first tying them both together, and then to the bedframe so she was stretched out. The gag had even remanifested in her mouth, as you could tell from her cries of frustration. However, within seconds of this process finishing on Laura, the exact same happened to you! You were also sent to your bed, wrists bound at one end and ankles at the other. As a gag manifested in your mouth as well, you recalled exactly what kind of spell you unleashed; while it did in fact unbind it's targets, it would also rebind them a few seconds later. It was developed in order to make tying a foe up in different positions easier. However, it could only target all bound targets in a room, as opposed to just one.
Bound tightly and literally right next to your arch rival, so close to each other you could lightly touch the sole of her foot with your own toe was not how you planned to spend your day. And it would only get worse, considering the spell's final effect...
