The daughter of land and sea.(Land edition)

You notice a rock and swim towards it to get a good look at your surroundings. After getting your bearings, you notice a gigantic wall keeping the ocean on one side and land on the other. What lays beyond the wall is unknown, but chances are it's meant something out. "What is this place?" you ask yourself. "Hello there." a feminine voice says, making you jump. You look behind you and see a colossal girl with black hair and ocean blue eyes. Although, she also appeared to be a child or a young teenager. "Oh, sorry about that, I didn't mean to scare you." the girl says innocently.

"Who... who are you?" you timidly ask. "My name's Melody. Don't worry, I won't hurt you." "Okay Melody, I'm _____ and I have absolutely where I am." you said. "Well, my home is just inside the wall. If you'd like, I can take you in and provide shelter. I just don't know how mom will react." she says. You grow curious and ask. "Why's that? Is she like a strict parent or something?" "Actually, I'm not allowed in the sea. Not sure why though, and if I told her I found tiny person outside the wall, she'd kill me."

This sounds more like an overprotective parent rather than mean. "Have you considered maybe there's something out here she's trying to protect you from? I mean, as wonderful as the ocean is, it can be dangerous." you say. "Actually no, I try to stay where it's shallow. I just assume that she tries to keep me in and play the role of princess." she explains. Princess huh. As the sun hits midday, Melody figures that she should return before her parents worry. "So, would you like to come with me back to the castle." she asks. Seeing no other option, you accept. After emerging from the water inside the wall, Melody places you in her hair to keep people from noticing you. But she wonders whether to show you to her mother or keep you a secret.
