Jackson's hand trembled, he was only spit-balling. He certainly hadn't expected to be held to the mad speculation. "You just want a job." The woman asked. Mutely, Jackson found himself nodding along. His brain was freewheeling, sure he'd be a woman until he found a job. Hell, he'd take any one he could and be free of the situation.
"You're prepared to take Jackson on as your fiancée, until she finds work." The woman gestured to Tony. His gaze held by the quill she was holding ready for him to sign. Flames licked up it, as Tony wetted his lips.

As she passed it over, she extinguished the flames, passing it to Tony. She tapped the space on the parchment where he was to sign. The quill was scratchy but, the ink still flowed smoothly.
"Oh, and there's a little caveat." She smiled, "Just a detail. She extended the parchment and quill to Jackson, "Should you give up on your job hunt, you'll become Tony's fiancé, and eventual wife. No way back."
Jackson swallowed nervously, it felt incredibly real now. Not just some drunken speculation, and a vague attempt to scrounge a sofa to sleep on for a brief duration, passing it back.
The woman looked it over and signed the bottom herself as observer, "Nikki." She dotted the 'i' with a heart, she rolled the parchment back up. Touching it with one forefinger, flames raced up it, consuming it entirely. The smell of brimstone thick in the air.
Jackson's heart leapt in relief. Well, until "That's it filed." The woman smiled.
