Jackson crossed his arms, furiously and silently showing his outrage. Biting his tongue, he could only hope that Tony was joking. The silence festered neither wanting to talk over the prospect facing Jackson. Suddenly a lot more real, and terrifying in its potential outcome.
Tony was eager for the evening to be over, to be tired enough to head to bed, and wake to find the new Jakki.
Jackson was restless and terrified of falling asleep, of how and who he'd wake to find in the mirror. The night passed, and the adrenalin faded, leaving the pair exhausted. Nikki's prompts came back to haunt Jackson, and inspire Tony.
Lethargy struck the pair early, as they were overcome with weariness. Both heard Nikki's voice inside their head, and knew the battle against fatigue was unwinnable. Neither shared what they'd heard... either the threats, or the temptation.
Stifling a yawn, as they went off to bed. Knowing even if they fought, they'd merely wake on the couch.
Jackson whimpered, as he lay down. The warmth and comfort of the bed claiming him almost instantly. Tony was asleep as quickly though with a very different expression on his face.
