Bobby quits struggling when he hears her say something about new clothes and Maria takes the opportunity to bundle him up tighter so he can't move. Bobby realizes his mistake and resumes struggling, but it's too late. Maria hums happily, looking down at Bobby and pinches his cheeks.
"Yep my growing boy needs some new clothes. He's getting big, but he will always me momma's little baby."
The blonde smiles. "He must be very happy to be spending the day in the arms of such a loving mother".
"Yes he is." Maria says and leans down to kiss Bobby's exposed forehead (now about the only part of him anyone could see) while she ignores his glaring eyes.
"Well if you decide you need a break from him, the daycare center is over to the right of the entrance and we will be happy to look after him. Have a great shopping day."
"I certainly will." Maria walks down the mall hallways, humming to Bobby and rocking him in her arms. Despite himself, Bobby starts to feel drowsy but fights off sleep. It didn't help that he had a full stomach and felt very safe and warm. No! He cried out in his head. He had to keep fighting this woman he thought was his friend!
Maria suddenly stops in front of her destination and Bobby struggles anew once he sees she has stopped in front of the leading baby store retail chain. Maria calmly walks inside and looks to her right. That side of the store is a bright blue and covered in onsies with superheroes and sports equipment. Maria looks to her left and sees the other side is a bright pink with clothes rack covered in frilly skirts and adorable princess dresses. She smiles to herself as a funny, yet very endearing thought comes to mind.
