You pick up the Twinky Belle character and have a closer look. Another princess (was Tinkerbell ever a princess?) in a provocative pose dressed in a very short lime green dress barely covering anything (in fact you would almost think it was body paint as it seemed to cover so little), and with little fairy wings. Hmm, interesting.
You place your Twinky Belle playing character next to Trudy's Bouncing Beauties at the end of the board closest to you ' at the gateway into the castle grounds as depicted on the board. Trudy picks up the wand and waves it in the air to start the game, expecting the first (potentially randomly generated) instruction to be announced from the little speaker on the wand's shaft. The top of the wand starts glowing again, but this time it also seems to be emitting sparks into the air. Suddenly Trudy yelps 'Ow! That's hot!' and lets go of the wand.
However, instead of falling to the floor the wand seems to hover in the air, still emitting multi-colored sparks. You're not sure whether to be worried or impressed. Then you hear a voice. It starts quite tinny, as you'd expect from the little speaker, but somehow seems to expand in depth and breadth until after a few words it seems to fill the air all around you.
'Welcome princesses! It's time to take your places in the enchanted lands, and battle the hidden challenges and obstacles to reach the castle drawbridge first. Let the game begin!' You glance across at Trudy, and she's similarly looking at you, both a bit disconcerted by what has just happened. Then...
