"Celestia?" Cadance asks.
She notices her voice and looks back, spotting you and Cadance, but also sees you holding her hand. Celestia pretends not to see that, since it
"(Your name)? Cadance?" your aunt asks. "What a coincidence!"
"Who knew we'd bump into you, Auntie?" you state. You swore you heard Cadance snickering but you could care less. Even though it embarrasses the hell out of you, and albeit it was just a promise to your parents, you're glad for having Celestia as your aunt.
"Yes, dear nephew, who knew?"
"So Celestia, what are you doing here?"
"You think I don't like to relax every now and then? After all, I hear this movie is hilarious!"
And here you are thinking that Celestia never had a good enough sense of humor. Going through Celestia's mind throughout the movie though, was both getting the hilarity and to wondering why you and Cadance were holding hands like that. It wasn't like a mother guiding way, if not, it was as if they were going out sort of way.
'Something isn't right here,' Celestia thought. 'Maybe I need to start giving a close eye on them.'
After the near lung bursting, you practically drag Cadance and Celestia out of the theater. It took them minutes to calm down.
"That was hilarious," you say, still slightly laughing, your sides hurting like hell.
"Yeah," Cadance states. "(Sigh) Phew. Now, what else can we do today?"
"Oh, I'm sorry you two, but I need to hed back," Celestia says. "Luna wanted me to help her with something and I agreed to do so today. You wouldn't mind if I leave now, do you?" It hurt her to lie to you, but to find out what's going on, she had to make some sacrifices.
"Not at all, Auntie Celeste," you say.
"It's no bother, Celestia," Cadance adds. "We can just stroll around the city and come back soon."
"Thank you," Celestia says. "I'll be on my way." She walks out of sight, but turns back to see you and Cadance.
"So where to now, (your name)?" she hears.
You say, "I was hoping you had the answer. After all, with what you're going through, I might as well let this be your day."
"Oh, (your name). How do you know how to make people feel better like this?"
"I honestly have no idea." The last thing Celestia sees is Cadance holding your arm. With a skeptical look, she walks back, and coincidentally enough, she sees Spike. With a given idea, she could either ask (bribe) him to "watch over" you, or she could drop that and ask someone else instead.
Twilight maybe? indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
