"Ugh! why can't i ever wake up without a headache?" you ask to no one in particular, as you got up your hand brushed up against something. "Huh? what the!?!" as you look towards your hand you see the same mask as you had attack your face in that weird dream or so you thought it was a dream. "Ok there is no way this is happening right now, it was just a dream that mask is not real, i have to still be unconscious yeah that's the only logical explanation." you say scared out of your mind. you try to pinch yourself and of course it hurts. "Oh great so this is real but there is no way that mask is made out of real bone." you say as you slowly go to pick it up. as your hand touches it, its eye sockets start to glow. "oh crap what have i done now?" you think. almost as imediately as it started the glow faded away, you are about to pick it up wondering what just happend when suddenly your train of thought was interrupted. "there you are (your name)" you jump out of your skin in surprise to hearing another voice, you turn around to see twilight running towards you and wrapping you in a big hug. "we've been looking all over for you after you left the castle without telling anyone where you were going, you had everyone worried sick including princess celestia." now that was shocking news not only could you have sworn you blacked out in the hallway, just to find out your body walked out of the castle on its own and went somewhere without telling a soul, but after all you did to her your aunt was worried about you. "Hello equestria to (your name)." you snapped out of thought to see twilight staring at you curiously. "so how long was i gone for?" you ask her. "you don't remember? you were gone for three whole days! it was like you just disappeared off the face of the planet." twilight said as if you knew how long you were gone for, which you still didn't know what was going on or why it is happening. with you back in thought twilight decides to give up and go tell the others she found you. "Twilight wait a sec." this sudden outburst caused her to turn back to you. "yes (your name)?" "Twilight i need you to gather everyone in the dining hall i ... i need to tell you all something important." you say with a look of desperation in your eyes. "ok but i don't see why you can't just tell me and i co... " "NO!" the young alicorn was taken aback by this, not only did you interrupt her mid sentence but you yelled at her. "I ... I'm sorry i didn't mean to yell at you like that but no it's just to important not to tell everyone at once." you say as you hug your friend, "please just gather everyone in the dining hall and soon ... please." she now sees that this is extremely important to you so she agrees and runs off to gather everyone, leaving you, your thoughts, and the mask in the hallway. you finally pick it up and look at it closely flipping and turning it until you realize that it is a mask made out of real bone. you decide to deal with it later and put it in your bag which you just NOW knowtist your wearing, "now what?" you think to yourself.
