The first thing you noticed was the soggy ground. The mud between your toes squishing between your bare feet. She kneeled and rubbed her narrow, calloused fingers in her giant palms.
You were lowered by the slippery shafts to the ground and you stumble for balance and manage to remain upright as the giantess let's go of the grip around your waist. Now standing on your own, but still impossibly dwarfed by the titan who surrounds you. Your brain struggles to come up with a meaning for all that is happening, but the effort is lost in the overwhelming sense of adrenaline.
Noire sits down wincing even with the natural "cushioning" she carries. Legs spread to place you in the center. She lifts a finger slowly and delicately. Lays it on her lower stomach and begins to drag upwards. Smearing her wetness all over your now dripping skin. Then lower again. Leaving a moist, warm line drawn from your belly button to your forehead. You think back to how it had come to this.
You had simply been playing through Noire's paralogue a challenge you were long since accustomed to. Making a bookmark with only a few enemies remaining, you resolved to go to sleep and see what the morning might bring.
Then you had been thrust into a world you hardly comprehended. Jagged towers of broken stone. Vast fields of grass. Swamps of sticky mud. And a girl. Well a enormous form that looked to be a girl. The bow slung across her shoulder suggested that beyond all doubt you were in the company of Noire.
Any questions, any thoughts quickly melt away as her massive head turns towards you. Huge green eyes looking down upon you A slightly worried look on her face as she picks you up and places you on her right breast.
"It's alright. I'll keep you safe. I hope."
Noire mutters these words. Her voice reaches into your eardrums making your rib cage rattle with each syllable. But the huge archer's voice calms you. The warmth and texture of her clothing, of her skin provides a welcome haven for your senses. She seems to be quite caring and thoughtful for a girl who otherwise had remained silent throughout your day long journey. The sky began to darken as she lifts you off her body. Which leaves you feeling cold and shivering. Only to place you on the ground. A few moments pass. You hear the snapping of twigs as she moves to notch an arrow in her bow.
Time went by... It had always come to you as strange that the two of you can stand so quiet and still for such a long time. Knowing you were never completely safe from bandits and creatures lurking just outside the confines of your protector's vision. Noire shifts in the darkness. You glance up from the small bundle you had made your self in an effort to combat the chill. She kneels in the mud before you. A single line of silk falling gracefully down along her side. Catching the dim light. She then steps off into some nearby brush disappearing from your sight.
It dawns on you that she must be relieving herself in the bushes behind her. For the first time you found yourself cursing the overblown sense of fear she carried. At least she hadn't wanted you to follow her like she made Severa follow her.
Slowly and impatiently Noire returns. Kneeling to lay her scant protection to your world once more. Picking you up you found yourself. Resting the edge of the fabric on the hard bone ridges of her shoulder. You soon fell asleep to the comforting, gently rhythmic swaying beneath your tired body.
