Sonic watched his friend go, and waited untill he disappeared from his sight. Then he quickly stood up to the sheet and smiled. "He won't notice, I'll cover it back up as soon as I'll see what it is" he thought. He removed the sheet from the table, and saw...
"A shrink ray?!"
Yes indeed, Tails this whole time was building a shrink ray. Of course, Sonic couldn't ask him about the reason, as he couldn't tell him that he saw it in the first place. Sonic then picked up, to see it closer. And then it fired. Directly at Sonic.

1. He shrinks.

2. Nothing happens, for now (delayed shrinking).
