The driver swerved left and everything went into slow-motion. Anna heard her phone ringing again as she was flung right. Overhead the giantess moved her leg in time to the music swaying it left so that it followed the car. It got dark and Anna could see the shadowed sole stretching away instead of the sky. There was a deafening boom and then the scream of tortured metal and people as the windows shattered spraying glass over her and then the ceiling collapsed onto her, seats buckled and there was an instant of agony as her bones broke and she was crushed into the wreck as the foot pressed down onto the floor

In the garden of The Happy Pig George put his phone away and sipped at his pint.
"Anything wrong," enquired the old man.
"No," he said, smiling, "she'll be here any minute..."
Samantha danced to the music and flirted with the guy who was trying to flirt with her.
She felt something crunch under her left foot. She stopped and raised her foot to inspect her sole. There was something like a piece of foil stuck to the ball of her foot.
The big guy stopped and looked quizzically at her, "What's up?"
She frowned. "I think I stepped on a taxi..."
He looked a bit lost. "What were they doing driving here?"
She felt sorry for the little people inside and there was an awkward silence for a few seconds. Her favourite song came on and she smiled. These things happened. She scraped her sole against her toe dislodging the wreck and began to dance again.
