Prototype technology.

Okay, new idea. Steven, Liz or one of the other characters has a new i-phone or a similar device. With it they find out they can bring up pictures of people and simply by high-lighting heads or individual body parts... they can then switch them around. And real life changes to match the pictures. The swaps can happen instantaneously like usual... or by way of a rapid morphing process. People may or may not notice their changes, that is up to the individual author. But the person doing the swapping obviously notices.
