Once outside you cast your eyes about in desperation. You are in a tizzy as you look in all directions. You can feel a pit form in your stomach when you don't find her.
You pick a direction and begin to run. You forget about your heels however and your ankle twists. It doesn't hurt but it does serve to remind you that your legs aren't your own.
Mindful of the heels you begin to run as best you can. It is more of a power walk due to the heels. You figure she can't have gone too far. Once you arrive at the corner you look around frantically for her. When you don't see her you nearly panic again.
Instead however you turn the other direction and go as quickly as you can to the other corner. It takes you a while. When you arrive you look around. You don't see her.
You find a nearby bench and slump down in a sort of sad resignation. Your legs are gone.
