There she is

Once outside you cast your eyes about in desperation. You are in a tizzy as you look in all directions. You can feel a pit form in your stomach when you don't find her.

Since you don't see her in either direction you conclude that she wasn't walking. You go around the side of the building to a small parking lot. You see a car just pulling out. You think you've spotted her behind the wheel.

You look at her and long for your legs back. You feel the power within you surge to life. You almost feel relief at the feeling. You know that something will happen.
