Chapter #7

Marriage escape plan.

    by: flash Author IconMail Icon
Your forced marriage plans were currently underway with Ithica planning the wedding, Paisley trying on different dresses, makeup, among other things.

You on the other hand were trapped back in the clamshell that Paisley had you trapped in earlier. All you could do was one thing.

GET THE HELL OUT OF DODGE!

You wanted nothing more than to escape the upcoming marriage to the mermaid who saw you as nothing but food. If you two officially become husband and wife, what then???

You didn't know and wanted to keep it that way.

You could tell you were alone in the grotto, so you decided to use all your strength to pry open the clamshell.

Using both of your hands, you tried pulling. It was barely enough for it to budge. You then pounded but it wasn't enough. You then started ramming it. It tired you out but you then noticed that the clamshell was becoming loose.

You smiled and panted. Summoning all your strength, you tried again and this time, you got it opened enough to squeeze out.

Finally, freedom was within your reach!

You were still alone. This meant you had a chance to escape and then afterwards, tell everyone back at shore what happened and hopefully they'll take care of the rest.

You saw your only way out was to dive, and so with a deep breath, you jumped in.

Swimming underwater, you had to go through a long hallway. Thankfully, you've had practice with swimming and holding your breath. Hopefully it would be enough.

Of course there's the extra stress if keeping a looking for both of those giant mermaids.

You then see an exit and kept your excitement in until you reached the surface.

Swimming upwards as fast as you can, you finally reach the surface, gasping in the process.

Finally, you were out of that cove and getting close to shore!

Or were you?
