OK it's totally player controlled there will always be an other choice in case you have a better idea and it's first person.

you are standing on a beach, over the sea no other land is clearly visible, facing inland you are immidiatly facing a dense forest of oak and birch trees, the sun is risen and the sky is blue, nothing else is visible and your pockets are empty.
