This choice: Something else happens before Lizzie can get back to her towel. • Go Back...
Chapter #6
Thrown off the beach
by: Unknown
She never did find out if Jessica hid her towel or not. Before she could reach it, she felt someone grab her and jerk her to a stop. She turned to face him. It was a tall man, overweight, balding, wearing a t-shirt that said, "Security."
"Where's your swimsuit?"
"In, in the water," LIzzie said, trying to keep up appearances. She was still playing the role of an innocent girl who suffered an embarrassing accident.
"A likely story," the guard said. He had a firm hold on Lizzie's arm, and was using it to guide her to the edge of the beach. "We get this sort of thing all the time. Some tramp decides to stage a show. We don't put up with it."
They were at the parking lot now. He let go of her arm. He used a cell phone to take her picture. "You're banned for the next year. This is County property and we can do this." He put his cell phone away. "And don't stay in the parking lot; that belongs to the County as well."
"Can't I get a towel?" Lizzie said, "or my street clothes. I'll leave right after that."
The security slowly shook his head. "I can't allow that." He turned away and walked back onto the beach.
Lizzie watched him go. Then she looked around the parking lot. Can I sneak back onto the beach and get my stuff, she thought, or should I just walk home like this?
One one hand, the idea of walking home naked was exciting Lizzie. On the other hand, she knew it could be dangerous.
