Claire had to admit. Two days after renovating her wardrobe she felt much better about her body image. She could notice more people giving her glances in the street. Maybe she really was too small to begin with.
With the scales taken care of, she felt ready to start the last task Dr. Susan had given to her. She was excited to make such positive changes to her lifestyle, and was remarkably more optimistic. Claire's mother decided to prepare a huge meal to mark the start of her daughter's diet.
"During the begining of your new diet, it is important that we expand your stomach capacity so that you can handle the proper amount of food you'll need to eat to consume enough calories. Then you can start to gradually introduce more and more caloric foods, to increase you matabolism."
"Wow, thanks for the tip, mom. It really means a lot to me that you are being so supportive."
Jen let out a huge, sincere smile as her daughter begin to dig in a huge plate of mashed potatoes dripping with gravy and then lots of pasta alfredo. By her fourth serving she was really stuffed, but pushed to eat a fifth plate, with her diet in mind. She felt really proud to manage to finish it. Then, her mother came with a huge bowl of custard cream.
"Good thing our body can make room for dessert even after you're stuffed to the brim." Claire's mother said, conditioning her daughter to think she could handle more food.
This trend continued for a week, and with each meal, Claire felt she could take more food than before. By the weekend the was getting to her seventh plate without a hitch, and even topped that with three servings of dessert. She also made an effort to have big snacks in between her meals, even when she didn't feel hungry. Of course, she soon became used the new meal times, and would get peckish if she didn't have some food most of the time.
The next week, Claire started to add more caloric foods to her diet on her own. She substituted the more lean cuts of beef and chicken with pork shoulder and pork belly. Instead of making her shakes with milk, she now just used heavy cream. She would use mayo and butter with everything she could. She even would sometimes add sugar to her sodas, to get her metabolism as high as she could.
It took almost no time for her very loose clothes to become a perfect fit. At that many calories a day, Claire was gaining at a tremedous rate. This caught the attention of Jen, who...
