Jen stood in front of the full length mirror, nude. One thing was undeniable: she'd gotten fat. Well, fatter, that is - she certainly hadn't been skinny before. But for the first time in years, her weight was growing again.
She lifted up her double belly and let it drop. It slapped against her thighs, making her whole body jiggle a bit. Wow, I look enormous, she thought. She turned around, looking at her butt, which she was certain had gotten wider. Her jeans were starting to feel snug again, for the first time in ages. There was no doubt about it. She was putting on weight. The notion was exciting. Her husband was going to be thrilled! She was certain that the weight looked good on her, and part of her wondered why she had ever stopped gaining in the first place.
Unfortunately, her plans with Claire didn't seem to be working the way she'd hoped. She was sure that after two months of cramming her daughter full of as much fattening, greasy, sugary food as her belly could handle, she'd at least be too big for her jeans, but the only change had been a slight pudge on Claire's belly. She'd never even seen Claire burst a button!
It was so unfair. After all, she knew that once Claire got used to it, she'd love being this big, too. Who wouldn't love to be this big and soft? And getting to stuff herself the way she'd been doing had been heavenly - she knew she couldn't bring herself to stop that habit.
Claire had obviously been putting in the effort. Everything Jen fed her, Claire ate without question, and she certainly enjoyed eating the way her mother did. So why wasn't she growing?
'It's my fault', Jen thought to herself. 'Claire has been doing everything I tell her, and she still isn't gaining weight the way I want her to.'
What could it be? Is it because she's more active than her mother? Is it because of her age?
'Whatever the cause,' Jen thought, 'I've got to make it up to her. I've got to work even harder to give her the body she deserves.'
